This product is a Polarization Maintaining Optical Circulator, with a standard 3-port structure (Port1→Port2, Port2→Port3 unidirectional transmission), used to isolate reflected light and achieve directional optical transmission. It supports multiple operating wavelengths: 1064 nm, 1310 nm, 1550 nm, 1650 nm, 1480 nm, etc., with typical bandwidths up to ±30 nm (1310/1550/1650 nm) and ±20/±5 nm (1064 nm model), suitable for communication C/O bands and 1 μm laser applications. The device features low insertion loss (typically 0.6–0.7 dB), high isolation (typically 30–46 dB), and high extinction ratio (≥20–22 dB), using panda-type polarization-maintaining fiber and steel tube/box packaging, suitable for integration into optical amplifiers, fiber lasers, fiber optic instruments, and sensing systems.
In the 1310/1550 nm models, the typical insertion loss is only about 0.7 dB, and in the 1064 nm models, it is about 1.8 dB. The maximum insertion loss within the specified operating temperature range is no more than 0.9 dB / 0.8 dB / 2.1 dB, which helps maintain link OSNR and power margin, making it suitable for medium-to-long-distance and high-performance systems.
Typical isolation reaches 46 dB (1310/1550 nm models), with minimum isolation ≥40 dB / ≥20 dB / ≥25 dB, and crosstalk ≥50 dB. This effectively blocks reflected light and crosstalk signals, preventing reflected light from flowing back to the laser, amplifier, or sensitive detector, significantly improving system stability.
The entire series boasts an extinction ratio of ER ≥20–22 dB, utilizing panda-type polarization-maintaining fibers such as PM1310, PM1550, and PM980. PM fiber and connector keying is aligned with the slow axis, while the fast axis is blocked. It supports both slow and fast axis applications, making it suitable for polarization-sensitive interferometry, coherent communication, and polarization-maintaining amplification systems.
Return loss RL ≥50 dB, maintaining stable performance within an operating temperature range of -5 to +70 ℃ (some models -5 to +50 ℃) and a storage temperature range of -40 to +85 ℃. Maximum optical power handling capacity ≤300 mW, meeting the long-term online operation requirements of most communication and laboratory scenarios.
