High-Density MPO/MTP Fiber TAP Monitoring Module (8CH / 16CH)
GRACYFIBER's 8-channel/16-channel MTP TAP modules provide a scalable, non-intrusive, real-time optical link monitoring solution for next-generation data centers and high-speed parallel networks. Designed to meet 40G/100G/400G/800G network architectures, these modules integrate US CONEC certified high-density MTP® connectors. Whether you are using a single-mode (1260–1650 nm) or multi-mode (850±50 nm) platform, these extremely compact modules provide multi-channel concurrent signal sampling without interrupting real-time service traffic. With built-in 8 or 16 independent TAP paths and highly accurate splitting ratio control, our products provide unparalleled network health diagnostics and power monitoring capabilities for space-constrained AI computing clusters and high-density cabling environments.

(Designed to address the monitoring pain points and space limitations of high-density parallel optical networks)
Features: US CONEC MTP® high-density interface and parallel channel expansion (8CH / 16CH)
Pain points solved/value: Completely replaces the cumbersome cabling of traditional single-channel TAPs, allowing simultaneous monitoring of up to 16 channels using a single high-density MTP interface. This not only significantly saves extremely expensive rack space in data centers but also perfectly meets the monitoring needs of parallel optical modules such as 400G/800G SR8/DR8.
Features: Precise and fixed splitting ratio options (from 5/95% to 50/50%)
Pain points solved/value: Offers a variety of finely tuned splitting ratios from 5/95, 20/80, 40/60 up to 50/50. This allows network architects to extract high-quality sampling signals for parallel network analysis devices while ensuring sufficient optical power budget for the main link (Live Traffic).
Features: Excellent low insertion loss and high channel uniformity
Solved Pain Points/Value: Ensures highly consistent and extremely low signal attenuation on each fiber in multi-channel parallel transmission. Single-mode systems achieve ≥50 dB directivity and return loss, while multi-mode systems achieve ≥25 dB, completely eliminating crosstalk and back reflection between channels.
Features: Passive, Non-Intrusive Operation
Solved Pain Points/Value: The purely physical layer passive splitter design means the module requires no power supply and has a high input optical power handling capacity of up to 300 mW (single-mode) and 500 mW (multi-mode). Even in the event of a power outage in the data center or a core switch restart, the monitoring link never drops, achieving true "zero-point-of-failure" monitoring.
Features: OM5 multimode platform and all-single-mode fiber compatibility
Pain points addressed/value: The multimode version perfectly supports the emerging OM5 and mature OM3/OM4 platforms, while the single-mode version is compatible with G67A1/A2/B3 and SMF-28 fibers. A single module can accommodate all fiber specifications for short-distance interconnects within your data center or long-distance DCI transmissions.
Our MPO/MTP TAP devices are cutting-edge tools for ensuring the security and high availability of core data networks:
