PM FWDM Device (PM Filtered WDM Device) is a filter device designed specifically for polarization-maintaining fiber systems, with a transmission range of 1290~1500nm and a cutoff range of 1524~1650nm, used for precisely separating or combining different wavelength signals within the same fiber. The transmission wavelength range is 1290–1500nm, with typical insertion loss being low and not exceeding 1.0dB; the cutoff/stopband covers 1524–1650nm, providing isolation of no less than 30dB in the stopband, while effectively suppressing 1260–1280nm and the high band 1524–1650nm outside the transmission channel. It is particularly suitable for separating “service band + protection/monitoring band." The device uses Corning PM13-U25D polarization-maintaining fiber, with a 0.9mm blue loose tube coating. The maximum input optical power can reach 300mW, operating temperature ranges from 0 to 70℃, storage temperature from -40 to 85℃, and it features low loss, high isolation, wide wavelength range, and high stability.

Transmission channel IL ≤1.0dB. In multi-stage amplification or long-distance transmission scenarios, the impact on overall network power budget and OSNR is smaller, allowing for more system margin.
High Isolation, Strong Crosstalk Suppression
Transmission channel isolation ≥30dB, effectively suppressing interference from other wavelength bands such as 1524–1650nm to the main service wavelength, enhancing system stability and reliability.
Good Polarization and Reflection Performance
Minimum extinction ratio not less than 18dB (the datasheet lower limit is “≤18dB"; in practice, it can be considered a high extinction ratio level), return loss ≥50dB, suitable for polarization-sensitive systems, helping improve the signal-to-noise ratio in interference and coherent applications.
Wide Operating Wavelength and Temperature Range
The device supports a wide wavelength range of 1260–1620nm, operating temperature 0–70℃, storage temperature -40–85℃, suitable for various environments including indoor equipment rooms and outdoor cabinets.
