16CH Single-Mode Fiber Array, 127 μm Pitch, A8° Polish, SMF-28e with FC/APC Connectors
The GracyFiber 16CH Single-Mode Fiber Array (SMFA) is a precision multi-channel fiber assembly designed to align sixteen Corning SMF-28e single-mode fibers at a 127 μm pitch within a compact quartz-glass V-groove structure. The fiber-array end is polished at A8°, while the opposite side is terminated with individually labeled FC/APC Narrow Key connectors.

The GracyFiber 16CH SM Fiber Array is designed to organize sixteen single-mode fibers into a precisely defined linear optical interface. Each fiber is positioned at a 127 μm center-to-center pitch, creating a compact multi-channel output suitable for coupling to optical devices that require a controlled fiber-array geometry.
Optically, the assembly is specified for insertion loss below 0.3 dB per channel. Two supplied test reports covering 32 individual channel measurements show values between 0.20 dB and 0.29 dB, with all tested channels meeting the specified limit.
When an optical device requires multiple single-mode fibers positioned in a linear array, the 16CH SMFA provides sixteen fibers at a controlled 127 μm pitch.
The compact quartz-glass V-groove structure defines the fiber positions, while the A8° polished interface provides the required angled optical surface for compatible device coupling.
Within an optical module or photonic assembly, the FA can serve as the multi-channel optical interface while the sixteen FC/APC connectors provide individually accessible external fiber channels.
The channel labels from 1 to 16 simplify correlation between the fiber-array positions and external test or system interfaces.
The combination of a fixed 16-fiber array and individually terminated FC/APC channels allows each optical path to be accessed separately during testing.
This is useful in systems where engineers need to measure or evaluate multiple optical channels while maintaining a fixed fiber-array geometry.
The array uses a 127 μm channel pitch. The drawing specifies the individual pitch as 0.127 ±0.0005 mm, with fifteen intervals across the 16-channel array.
The assembly uses Corning SMF-28e single-mode fiber and FC/APC Narrow Key connectors. The connector-side fibers are protected with 0.9 mm white loose tube.
The insertion loss requirement is <0.3 dB per channel. The two supplied sample test reports show all 32 measured channel values below 0.30 dB.
GracyFiber provides fiber-array and passive optical-component solutions for optical communication and photonic integration, including:
For this 16CH SMFA, the supplied engineering drawing defines the fiber type, pitch, V-groove material, polish geometry, mechanical structure, connector format, fiber length, and cable protection requirements, while individual test reports provide channel-level insertion-loss verification. 910001716-43 (3)
