Detailed Product Description

This 32-fiber assembly integrates eight MPO-12/APC Elite Male connectors into a compact multi-fiber interconnect. Four MPO connectors are positioned on the input side and four on the output side, with the internal fiber routing defined by the product polarity drawing.

Although MPO-12 connectors provide twelve fiber positions, the supplied polarity diagram shows the active fiber allocation and routing used for this specific 32-fiber configuration. Page 2 of the drawing identifies the fiber positions and color-coded routing for the four input and output groups and confirms the Key UP orientation at both connector interfaces.

For optical performance, the assembly is tested at both 1310 nm and 1550 nm. The specified maximum insertion loss of 0.35 dB helps limit optical power loss across the interconnect, while return loss of at least 60 dB is particularly relevant for APC-based single-mode systems where reflected optical power needs to be controlled.
