Gracyfiber Dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) is an optical fiber multiplexing technology that is used to increase the bandwidth of existing fiber networks. Standard DWDM Mux Demux package types include ABS box, LGX box, and 19” 1U rack mount. It involves the process of multiplexing many different wavelength signals onto a single fiber. DWDM will allow the transmission of data: voice, video-IP, ATM, and SONET/SDH respectively, over the optical layer.
