The 8CH Lidless SM Fiber Array to MTP/APC Female Assembly is designed for multi-channel optical coupling and compact fiber interconnection applications. It integrates an 8-channel single-mode fiber array with a 12-fiber MTP/APC female connector, using the middle eight MTP channels, positions 3 through 10.
The assembly uses a standard 12-fiber MTP/APC female connector, while only the middle eight positions are populated for the 8-channel fiber array. The active positions are channels 3 through 10, leaving the two outer channels on each side unused.
A lidless fiber array leaves the optical coupling surface directly accessible, which can simplify alignment and integration in applications such as optical modules, photonic devices, and fiber-to-chip coupling assemblies.
