1. Product Description

This CWDM/CCWDM Multiplexer is a Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer designed specifically for optical transmission networks. It operates within a wavelength range of 1260 to 1660 nm, supporting standard CWDM wavelengths from 1270/1290/1310 nm up to 1610 nm; corresponding CCWDM wavelength configurations are also available. The product features a channel spacing of 20 nm and a channel bandwidth of ±6.5 nm. It is available in various configurations—including 2-channel, 4-channel, 6-channel, 8-channel, and 18-channel options—and integrates a dedicated Monitor port. This makes it ideally suited for applications involving wavelength multiplexing, demultiplexing, link monitoring, and multi-service optical network systems. The device utilizes G657A1, G657A2, G657B3, or SMF-28 optical fibers, offering low insertion loss, excellent channel isolation, and stable optical performance. Notably, the CCWDM configuration features a more compact structure and exhibits even lower insertion loss in multi-channel applications. The product supports either 250μm bare fiber or 900μm loose-tube cabling, with a standard cable length of 1000 mm; connector options include standard LC/UPC or customized alternatives. The CWDM version is available in both cassette and rack-mount packaging options, while the CCWDM version offers a more miniaturized package, facilitating seamless equipment integration, cabinet installation, and OEM project implementation.
