This Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter (PBC/S) is a high-performance passive device based on polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber. It is designed to efficiently combine two orthogonally polarized optical signals into a single output, or to split a single input signal into separate output ports based on its polarization state. The product covers a range of commonly used wavelengths—including 980nm, 1064nm, 1310/1480/1550nm, and the 1260–1620nm band—making it suitable for fiber-optic systems with stringent requirements regarding insertion loss, return loss suppression, and polarization control. Available in two performance grades—Grade P and Grade A—this device offers flexibility in selecting the optimal solution for either high-end applications or cost-optimized designs. Featuring a compact standard package size of φ5.5×34mm, its compact structure facilitates easy integration into lasers, amplifier modules, and various optical communication systems.
