1. Regarding laser-waveguide coupling, how do you ensure the polarization extinction ratio (PER) and extremely low back reflection for multiple channels?
Lasers are extremely sensitive to back reflection. We employ a semiconductor-grade ultra-high precision V-groove substrate and a fully automated machine vision alignment system. This not only achieves precise alignment of the stress region (slow or fast axis) of the panda-shaped polarization-maintaining fiber, but also significantly improves the return loss (RL) through precise end-face grinding (e.g., 8° or special angles). This reduces insertion loss (IL) to extremely low levels, and the polarization extinction ratio (PER) of each channel is consistently ≥ 20 dB. 100% of the array undergoes rigorous end-face interferometry and polarization state testing before leaving the factory.
2. What is the operating temperature range of this array? Can it remain stable in the high-heat environment of the laser or chip?
As a high-precision passive optical component, its power consumption is 0W.
