The Plug-in MWDM Mux/Demux Module is a passive wavelength-division multiplexing component designed to combine or separate multiple optical wavelength channels over a common fiber.
In the MUX direction, individual MWDM wavelength channels are combined onto one transmission fiber. In the DEMUX direction, the multiplexed optical signal is separated into individual wavelength channels for connection to corresponding optical equipment.
